Support Analyst

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: Competitive

Hours of work: 36.5 hours. Mon to Thurs - early shift 0800 to 1630 hrs, late shift 0930 to 1800 hrs.  Fri early shift 0800 to 1230, middle shift 0830 to 1300 hrs and late shift midday to 1630 hrs (no lunch).

Main Purpose of the Support Analyst:

The role of the Support Analyst is to support and maintain all IT systems within the company and provide 1st and 2nd line support to all company IT users at sites in Europe the US.

Responsibilities of the Support Analyst:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels of expertise
  • Trustworthy with the ability to prioritise and manage own workflow
  • Professional and polite at all times
  • To undertake other relevant duties as may be reasonably required for the benefit of the company and the team effort
  • To make a proactive contribution to the Department
  • Promote a professional and positive image of the Company
  • Work with discretion and diplomacy
  • To respect and up hold Patient confidentiality at all times

Requirements of the Support Analyst role:

  • A formal IT qualification and education to A level standard or equivalent
  • Microsoft 365 and Server support
  • Rollouts of PCs, laptops and printers
  • 1st and 2nd line user support
  • Backup processes
  • Network installation, support and maintenance
  • Is customer-focussed and comfortable dealing with employees at all levels/expertise
  • Able and willing to travel within the UK
  • Full UK driving licence essential as travel to other sites in the UK will be required
