Marketing & Commercial Assistant
Bristol
£20,000 - £25,000 Per Annum

This year, our client celebrates 28 years designing and manufacturing quality medical training products for healthcare professionals. The company headquarters is based in Bristol, England, with subsidiary offices in the USA, Australia and Sweden. Their products are also sold throughout the rest of the world using an expanding network of over 80 distributors.

They have grown significantly in the last decade and has received a range of awards.

The Marketing Assistant Role
The Marketing & Commercial Assistant will assist the Marketing Manager and Commercial Director in the running of this busy department.

The Commercial department based in Bristol supports the global sales business in its communication with potential and existing customers.

This newly created role has a wide remit, from analytical work assessing performance of key elements of the business through to creative activities in shaping the direction and image of the L&T brand at exhibitions and conferences.

Main Accountabilities:


  • Support to Marketing Manager and Commercial Director on day to day basis.
  • Ensure the 6 websites are kept up to date as required.
  • Creation and monthly reporting deck for Commercial Director.
  • Review and monthly reporting of website and e-commerce performance.
  • Organisation and management of User Guide repositioning.
  • Management and organisation of L&T exhibitions both for the UK and International team.
  • Monthly reporting on Marketing budget spends.

Requirements for the Marketing Assistant Role

Essential


  • Marketing experience either internship or from first role.
  • Marketing Qualification.
  • Articulate with high level of attention to detail, good level of English.
  • Ability to understand and disseminate often complex medical issues.
  • Ability to work cross functionally – from Product Development, through to the front-line Sales
  • Calm headed, thorough working, with the ability to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Get sleeves rolled up

Desirable


  • Working knowledge of UMBRACO
  • Salesforce knowledge (or similar CRM)
  • Medical / Tradeshow / Exhibition experience would be a benefit
  • Understanding of medical terminology
