Apprentice Transport Administrator

Location: Morley, Leeds

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Apprentice Transport Administrator role:

We are currently seeking an Apprentice Transport Administrator to support our existing team, based in Morley, Leeds. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy and varied working environment by providing an efficient administrative service to the transport function.

Responsibilities of the Apprentice Transport Administrator:


  • General administration duties
  • Handling daily queries from Drivers, customers and other departments
  • Closing out job files by obtaining relevant paperwork and information
  • Scanning documents onto the system
  • Data entry
  • Use of the transport management system

Requirements of the Apprentice Transport Administrator:


  • Ability to prioritise activities and multi-task
  • Good literacy and numerical skills i.e. MS Office (Word/Excel/Power Point)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Results focused individual with the ability to work short deadlines
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Good attention to detail
  • Team player
