Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum (D.O.E.)

Job Type: Full Time

Office hours: (Mon – Fri, 9.30 – 5.30)

The Administrator role:

We are looking for a new member of staff to assist the Managing Director, specifically preparing the client information in advance of meetings and then helping to co-ordinate the post meeting activities. This will mean liaising between client, adviser and the rest of the team to make sure nothing is missed. This role is likely to be varied with a particular focus on prioritising effectively and attention to detail.

Who we are looking for:

You will be qualified to at least degree level. Previous experience is not being required for this role but we would expect you to be ambitious in acquiring financial qualifications. Full support in both the role and studying for exams will be given. Good communications skills are a must.

You will be needed to organise and prioritise the workload effectively.  You should have the ability to work without supervision once trained. You should be proactive in identifying and solving day to day problems which may arise and be able to work in a pressurised environment from time to time.

Who we are:

We are a small financial services business. All members of staff are expected to be willing to help out other members of staff with their responsibilities. All members of staff are expected to deal with incoming telephone calls from clients when necessary.

The Administrator duties:

  • Prepare a meeting pack for clients
  • Co-ordinating and carrying out post meeting activities
  • Assist members of the new business team as required, in particular the Managing Director’s PA
  • Prepare valuation and suitability reports for existing clients
  • Collate information needed for pension scheme reporting
  • Preparing pension scheme reports
  • Maintaining and updating scheme profiles
  • Assisting in the issue of scheme member statements
  • Liaise between clients, financial adviser and the office to make sure everyone is on the same page
