Surveyor – Windows and Doors

Location: Leicester

Salary: £27456 per annum, Plus Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Job type: This is a FULL-TIME PAYE career, NOT temporary contract work.

There will be an extensive period of training in relation to their specific procedures, you will be provided with a PDA to complete the surveys and all other equipment that you need such as specific measuring tools, ladders and samples.

There is no selling involved. You need to provide a reliable and respectable car to travel to your appointments, for which you are paid 45 pence per mile for the first 10000 miles per annum and 25 pence per mile thereafter.

Your area will generally be Leicestershire. Ideally you will be based in the close region.

Responsibilities of the Surveyor – Windows and Doors:

You will be required to attend, survey and report on Insurance Claims allocated, with regards to all types of windows and doors.

This includes UPVC, timber and aluminium. This can be for windows, doors, conservatories, French and patio doors. You will also be asked to survey all types of garage doors.

Requirements of the Surveyor – Windows and Doors:

Ideally, you will have experience of surveying or be a very experienced Fitter/Joiner of windows and doors. You will be self-motivated, polite, respectable in appearance, and above all demonstrate attention to detail, with accuracy being most important.
