Location: Braintree

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: 12-month Maternity Cover

About the Company:

This is a key position providing administrational support to the Project Director within the Project team. Providing an accurate, timely and consistent level of service to both internal and external stakeholders across the whole range of business services, including Electrical Vehicle Charging projects across the UK.

Project Administrator Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining professional client facing approach and excellent customer service to both new and existing clients.
  • To carry out all administration activities for the Technical team to ensure smooth and timely running of processes.
  • Assist project team with accurate and timely bid preparation / submission, design submission and raising purchase orders
  • To assist in the administration of project documentation and record keeping.
  • Act as an integral interface between Project and Delivery team.
  • Developing and maintaining compelling relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Maintain online database and electronic files.
  • Actively contribute to continuous process improvement within the Technical team.
  • Provide performance data to support preparation of weekly and monthly reports.

Project Administrator Requirements:


  • Strong, proven background within a similar administrative support position.
  • Experience within the utilities/construction sector is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain compelling relationships.
  • Proactive and motivated approach.
  • Positive can do' attitude
  • Empathetic approach to both internal and external customers, offering first class customer service at all time.
  • Ability to investigate, resolve and/or escalate client issues/requirements.
  • Strong IT skills including MS Suite
  • NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or equivalent would be an advantage.
