Primary Care Transformation Manager
£28,000 - £35,000 (Dependant on Experience)

The Primary Care Transformation Manager Role

With a focus on developing ideas and new opportunities in relation to the NHS Long Term Plan and the changing face of Primary Care, the post-holder will work within the Business Development team across their companies

The role will work with relevant stakeholders to create and develop opportunities to further grow and enhance our portfolio of services. The role will lead on projects that will further integrate their service offer into the emerging Primary Care Networks.

You will play a key role in ensuring that our existing services are future proofed and opportunities for innovation and delivering Primary Care at scale are explored and delivered.  

You will be required to both lead on and contribute to development processes for new services, and to work with business units and other organisational support functions to create innovative and cost effective service offers and internal service improvements.

Alongside the Chief Operating Officer and the Head Of Business Development, you will contribute to the development of their Primary Care vision and the implementation of key work streams aligned to the NHS Long Term Plan that enable Primary Care at Scale; ensuring we are at the forefront of transforming Primary Care.

Requirements for the Primary Care Transformation Manager Role

  • Experience of Primary Care Service delivery or commissioning
  • Experience of structured writing, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Experience of working with Senior Management Teams
  • Must be educated to A-Level
  • Evidence of Professional Development
  • Ability to work with others to develop ideas and solutions
  • Leadership with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Able to communicate ideas, data and proposals with the ability to influence a range of audiences, including in writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a complex portfolio of work, making significant progress across a number of fronts over short periods of time
  • A passion to work closely with people every day
  • Strong IT skills and experience of using multiple packages
  • Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level
  • Passion for Primary Care Services
  • Ability to deal with fast moving situations
