Part Time Cruise Administrator
Dover
Salary £18,000 - £18,500 pro rata

Dover is the premier hub port for cruise lines in the South East and one of the busiest cruise ports in Britain and Northern Europe, welcoming over 20 individual cruise lines and 200,000 cruise passengers every year. The current Dover Western Docks Revival will transform the waterfront, enhancing Dover’s status as a first class destination for cruise passengers and cruise lines. They provide Shipping Services for our customers including Pilotage and Mooring together with Passenger Services delivered by their Baggage Handling and Passenger Access staff.

With major new visitor attractions such as the White Cliffs Christmas Event at the Port’s historic Cruise Terminal 1, our client could provide employment opportunities all year round.

The Cruise Administrator Role
You will provide a pro-active administrative support service to the team, in particular organising resourcing requirements for each cruise ship, vessel or other commercial activity.

The Administrator will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the employees has adequate support to work efficiently and smooth running of their offices.

You will be required to work 3 days a week, 8am – 5pm (but hours could vary)

Duties will include:


  • Administration for COAST employees including payroll information
  • Administration of COAST employees availability using Access Database
  • Organising of employees to attend work with vessels, events and other commercial activities
  • Support Operations Manager & Controllers in the collation of employee attendance and training
  • Storing of Cruise Operation Documents (Electronic & Hardcopy)
  • Producing of employee attendance registers/timesheets & employee rosters
  • Producing Dashboard reports

Requirements for the Cruise Administrator Role


  • Previous Administration experience (1 years)
  • Experience in Microsoft packages inc: Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Be able to work flexible shifts days
  • Strong communication skills verbal & written
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service
